Leo is an Aviation Management Professional with over 20 years of diverse experiences in aircraft acquisitions. From his beginnings in the parts market to portfolio management, and with a specialized technical focus on engine assets, Leo has earned his experience in privately held aviation companies, learning the most effective way to maintain a portfolio of aviation assets and generating cash flow. Self-directed, Leo has thrived in his career by successfully monetizing distressed or underperforming assets. Leo is an effective communicator across organizational levels through Executive Positions held with several aviation companies, focusing on aircraft and engine repairs, asset management, and cross border transactions. To date, Leo has performed transactions in over 90 countries.

With the creation of MDI in 2006, Leo leads through his passion and knowledge in the aviation asset business. Through his many years of experience and expertise, he is excited to see the growth of MDI and enhance its presence in the aviation global markets.

If he’s not in the MDI office, or traveling on behalf of MDI, you will find Leo with a fishing pole in hand wandering the vast expanse of Alaska or scrimmaging on the hockey rink.
